In that season between winter flowers and spring blooms I love to fill my house with leafy greens. They remind me of the growth and warmth that is just on the horizon. My absolute favorite branch is from our Southern Magnolia. It’s woody stems and hearty but elegant leaves last for weeks in a vase (as long as you keep the water clean and stems freshly trimmed). It’s the perfect way to bring a little nature inside when our PNW forecast is wet and gray. They also make for a stunning simple arrangement between spring bulbs and the heart of peony season- right where we are at!
I’m very pleased to share some branches with you from our property on opening day this upcoming Monday, May 30th. I hope you can make it and love the Magnolia branches as much as I do!
