Today is the shortest day and longest night of the year - winter solstice 🌘
Today I am reflecting on the beauty of seasons changing and finding hope and light on the darkest of days, winter solstice.
As we make our way through advent, I find it no coincidence that on the darkest day we are nearly on the eve of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ - the true source of light and love.
Christmas can be a busy, go-through-the-motions, and even grief filled time - a far cry from what we typically expect. But I believe that if you seek light from the one who it's all about, then traditions and celebrations carry more purpose and joy.
